WILLS POINT, Texas. - Covenant played its fifth and final game of the Texas road trip at East Texas Baptist. The Scots struggled in doubles which led to their defeat. 

Final: Covenant 2, East Texas Baptist 7
Records: Covenant (6-5), East Texas Baptist (6-1)

DOUBLES:

• Ben Onufrock and Austin Dreslinski were narrowly beaten in a tiebreak, 7-8 (5-7) by Max Karseno and Sam Black in the No. 1 slot. 
• In the No. 2 position, Solomon Crouch and Gill Dunn lost to Erick Van Zyl and Jacob Daniel 3-8.
• ETBU earned the doubles sweep as Caleb Domkowski and Camden Lashley were defeated by Zachary Couch and Orren Ladner 3-8. 

SINGLES:

• After dropping the first set, Onufrock came all the way back to win the No. 1 ranked match in a tiebreak over Karaseno 4-6, 6-2 (10-7).
• Dreslinski forced the second set in the No. 2 slot against Black to a tiebreak but was defeated 2-6, 6-7 (5-7).
• Domkowski also went to a second set tiebreak in the No. 3 position, but had the same luck as Dreslinski, falling 5-7, 6-7 (5-7) to Couch. 
• In the No. 4 slot, Couch picked up an impressive 6-3, 6-2 victory over Ladner. 
• Dunn went up against Slade Austin in the No. 5 position and was defeated 4-6, 3-6. 
• Brock Boehling dropped Covenant's final match of the day which was a 5-7, 2-6 defeat to Jacob Daniell. 

UP NEXT: Covenant doesn't play again until March 15 when it travels to take on Oglethorpe.
