BRANDON, Miss. - The Collegiate Conference of the South announced on Thursday afternoon its inaugural Academic All-Conference honorees for the 2022-23 school year. 98Â Covenant student-athletes were recognized for having at least a 3.30 GPA in both semesters.
11Â of the 98Â student-athletes that were recognized received placement on the President's Honor Roll for having a GPA of 3.90 or higher in both semesters.
"I'm extremely proud of our student-athletes and their commitment to excellence in the classroom," said Covenant Director of Athletics John Hirte."Being a student-athlete is no small time commitment, and it's rewarding to see them being recognized for their achievements beyond athletics."
In their first season as a member of the CCS, the Scots had the third-highest number of student-athletes to receive Academic All-Conference honors. The Scots from each team who were among the honorees are listed below and those who have an asterisk beside their name were named to the President's Honor Roll.
