MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Covenant men's tennis team completed the 9-0 sweep at Huntingdon Saturday afternoon, winning their third match in a row.
The Scots remain atop the USA South West division, sitting at an undefeated conference record of 5-0.
Covenant gathered three default victories in the match as the Hawks had limited players available.
The Scots cruised in the doubles portion with two commanding wins.
Ethan Gibson and Gill Dunn earned an 8-3 victory over Huntingdon's No. 1 doubles team of Carson Sands and Clint Robinson. The pair now sits at 7-2 overall and 4-0 within conference play.
At the No. 2 spot, Ben Luke and Chris Morton defeated John David Bailey and Cameron Reed 8-1, while Solomon Crouch and Camden Lashley received the No. 3 doubles slot default win.
Covenant dominated in singles as well, only allowing Huntingdon five games across the four matches played.
Luke got his seventh victory in a row, as he defeated Sands at the No. 1 singles spot 6-1, 6-2. He now sits at 9-2 overall for the season.
Gibson grabbed the 6-0, 6-0 win over Robinson at the No. 2 spot, while Crouch beat Bailey 6-1, 6-0. And at the No. 4 slot, Cameron Cortman defeated Reed 6-0, 6-1.
Tyler Kelly and Lashley both gathered the default wins at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles slots.
Covenant improves to 10-4 overall, while Huntingdon drops to 5-8 (2-3 USAS).

Covenant will travel to Nicholasville, Kentucky, to face Transylvania on Tuesday, April 13. Match time is scheduled for 3pm EDT.
