LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- On a warm and humid night at the Covenant Tennis Complex, the Covenant women's tennis team took a 3-1 lead on visiting Oglethorpe but wet court conditions forced the match to be called off before completion.
Covenant's record remains at 3-2.
The Scots took two of the three doubles matches. At the top flight, Gillian Bosko and Madelyn Savage earned an 8-4 win over Alyssa Merletti and Sydney Dattilo. Mariah Westra and Dani Rappuhn made it a 2-1 Covenant lead in the match with their 8-1 win over Katie Hunter and Alexis Salgueiro at No. 3.
The only singles match that was completed was at No. 2 as Bosko collected a 6-3, 6-2 win over Dattilo.
The three doubles matches and Bosko's singles match do not count for those individual season stats. Other matches had begun to start, but no sets were completed before the call was made to end the contest.
