MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Covenant men's golf team finished 12th among a field of nationally-ranked opponents in the Wynlakes Intercollegiate which wrapped up play on Tuesday.
USA South member, and No. 10 ranked, Huntingdon took the team title with a two-day score of 584 to edge out No. 16 Emory. Huntingdon's Stephen Shephard and Emory's Stefano Butti tied for medalist honors with scores of 141 and Shephard defeated Butti in a playoff for the individual title.
Junior Alan Craig led the Scots with an 81 in Tuesday's final round after positing an 82 in round one for a two-day score of 163. Marshall Kent (85-84 -- 169), Josh Wall (94-81 -- 175) were the next two Covenant finishers in the event.
