ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Junior Alan Craig finished 13th to lead the Covenant men's golf team to a sixth place finish overall at the Georgetown (Ky.) College Invitational at the PGA World Village in St. Augustine.
Craig posted a 79 in Monday's first round before improving by three strokes for a 76 in Tuesday's final round. The junior's 155 for the tournament tied him for 13th with Seth Greenwood of SCAD-Atlanta. As a team, Covenant was five strokes better on Tuesday and finished with a 695 to place sixth out of seven teams.
Dalton State, led by medalist Sean Elliott, captured the team title with a two-day score of 587. Elliott posted a tournament score of 142 to win the individual title by two strokes over Indiana Tech's Dathan Terry.
Covenant freshman Marshall Kent was 31st overall with a 173 (86-87) for the tournament.

The Covenant men will compete at the Wynlakes Intercollegiate on March 28-29 in Montgomery, Ala.
