ROME, Ga. -- Levi Nix had another strong round as he posted an even-par 72 to finish in a tie for 14th at the Chick-fil-A Invitational in Rome, Ga. Covenant finished in a tie for 15th, out of 25 teams, with Berry College at 615 for the tournament.
Coastal Georgia took the event and the University of the Cumberlands' Alastair Tidcombe claimed the top individual spot by winning the first playoff hole.
Nix's two-day total of 147 placed him in a tie for 14th individually out of 133 golfers. Trey Patterson shot a second round 75 for a tournament-total of 153, good enough for a tie for 48th place. Cameron Lewis and James Van Nice had rounds of 79 and 82, respectively.
Nix and Patterson will be individual participants in the NCCAA Men's Golf Championship on October 21-24 in Panama City Beach, Fla.
