ATLANTA -- Alex Mosteller recorded an opening round 75 (39-36) at the 2011 Emory Spring Invitational, but the Scots currently rest in 14th place in the field of 17 teams.  Their team score of 318 has them well within striking distance, though, as a pack of 8 other institutions rests in the 308-318 range. 

Mosteller leads the Covenant squad yet again and is presently in a 6-way tie for 15th place individually.  Cameron Lewis opened the tournament with a pair of 39s for a team second best 78.  Jon Spencer and Dave Wilkinson began play with scores of 82 and 83, respectively.

Round two is set to begin Tuesday morning at 9:00am.
