ROME, Ga. – The Covenant Scots completed round two of the 2011 Chik-Fil-A Invitational with a team total of 323. Their final score of 642 (319-323) put them in 18th place in the field of 19 teams.
Covenant was led again by Alex Mosteller who shot a 75-78 at the Coosa Country Club in Rome, Georgia. The sophomore finished tied for 44th in the field of 115 individuals. Freshman Trey Patterson carded a pair of 80s for the event to finish second among Scots.

This year's title trophy went to Lee University. The Lee Flames (286-282, 572) were led by Matt Emery. Emery led the rest of the field by 4 strokes after carding two sub-par rounds. His second day 66 (-6) was the tournament low and one of only five rounds recorded in the 60s.
Jordan Stern represented Covenant on the women's side with a 32nd place finish. Stern opened the round with an 87 and followed on day two with an 88.
