Clarkesville, GA- Despite the torrential amounts of rain that have covered the southeast over the past week, the Covenant men's golf team managed to play a full 18 holes at the Piedmont Invitational in Clarkesville, GA. Covenant placed 6th overall in the field of 14 teams finishing only 11 strokes off Piedmont College, the host and this year's winner at Orchard Golf & Country Club.
The Scots were led by Trevor Potts and Dave Wilkinson who each shot a +3 round at 75. Covenant's 3rd and 4th place finishers were David Spencer (76) and Jon Spencer (84) giving the Scots a grand total of 310.
