Golf Courses (Lookout Mountain Club/McLemore)
The Covenant golf team enjoys the ability to play at both McLemore Golf (Rising Fawn, Ga.) and the Lookout Mountain Club (Lookout Mountain, Ga.).
Located 25 minutes south of Covenant, McLemore Golf is a private, master-planned, mountaintop community featuring an 18-hole championship highlands course and 6-hole short course designed by internationally acclaimed architects, Rees Jones and Bill Bergin. McLemore was nominated as "Best New Course of the Year" in 2020 by Golf Digest.
McLemore has also hosted the Highlander Cup, Covenant athletics' fundraising golf tournament, since 2019.
The Lookout Mountain Club golf course is a beloved landmark and crown jewel of the community. Designed and built in 1925 by renowned golf course architect Seth Raynor, it is a world-class championship course recognized by Golfweek magazine as one of the “Top Classical Golf Courses” in America.
