Tera Davidson will enter her second season overall of assisting with the cross country programs in 2017.
Davidson graduated from Covenant in 2012 and was a successful cross country runner herself. She earned Great South Athletic Conference Runner of the Year in 2011 as she helped the women's team to a conference championship.
"During my years of running at Covenant, one truth has really shaped my life: nothing worthwhile is ever accomplished without great difficulty," said Davidson. "Running is a tough sport and those who commit to it are tough people. God has called his children to challenging tasks that require more than our own strength to complete. He has used running to teach me the qualities of endurance, faithfulness, consistency and passion that are very useful to me in my daily battle against sin. I look forward to this task of coaching that God has so graciously called me to. Soli Deo Gloria."
She is married to former Covenant soccer player Hunt Davidson. She is also employed at Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise.
