The full slate offers challenging contests for the Scots. Covenant will square off with defending national champion Emory twice during the year. The Scots and Eagles face each other on Sept. 7 as part of the Berry National Invitational in Mount Berry, Ga., before Covenant hosts Emory on Oct. 15 on Lookout Mountain.
Covenant opens the season on Aug. 30 at Birmingham Southern in a season-opening weekend tournament. The Scots will also face St. Catherine and Rhodes on Aug. 31 to complete the first weekend of play in Birmingham, Ala.

After a mid-week trip to NCAA Division II member Trevecca Nazarene (Sept. 10), the Scots open the home schedule on Sept. 14 against Oglethorpe. Also in non-conference play, Covenant will face Millsaps (Sept. 21), Berry (Sept. 21), and Oglethorpe again (Sept. 25).
Conference play opens on Homecoming weekend as the Scots host matches against Berea and Maryville on Sept. 28 as part of a USA South quad-match. It will mark the first time since 2015 that Covenant has played home matches during Homecoming weekend.
In October, Covenant will have a stretch of four home matches from Oct. 15-23 with Emory (Oct. 15), Huntingdon (Oct. 19), LaGrange (Oct. 19), and Agnes Scott (Oct. 23) all making the trek up the mountain. The home regular season finale is set for Oct. 30 against Sewanee.
The regular season ends on Nov. 2 with neutral site USA South matches against Piedmont and Brevard in Decatur, Ga. (Agnes Scott).
The USA South Tournament is set to begin on Tuesday, Nov. 5 with the top six teams in each division qualifying. The top two seeds in each division will host first round and quarterfinal rounds matches, while the semifinals and championship will be played at the highest remaining seed on Nov. 8-9.
- St. Catherine (Minneapolis, Minn.) is the lone new foe on the schedule this year. The Wildcats went 14-12 overall last season.
- Covenant has faced every other opponent on its schedule at least twice all-time. The most common all-time opponent on the schedule is Sewanee as the teams have faced 44 times on record.
- In its run of four straight USA South regular season division titles, Covenant has a 49-8 conference record. The Scots have won 22 straight home matches against USA South opponents during the regular season, the longest active streak in the league.
- Matches against Brevard will count for USA South standings this year. However, Brevard is not eligible to compete in the USA South Tournament. The Tornados will gain full NCAA Division III membership in 2020-21 academic year.
