LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- The Covenant volleyball team won its 13th straight match and completed the regular season with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-22) victory over visiting Brevard on Saturday afternoon at Barnes PE Center.

Before the match, seniors Jessica Seehorn, Schuyler Moore, and Ginny Moore were recognized as part of Senior Day celebration. The trio has helped lead the program to three USA South divisional regular season championships, one conference tournament title, and a NCAA Tournament appearance. The group is now 86-43 overall in their four years, currently the fourth-best mark for a graduating class in program history.

The win for Covenant (21-7) solidified a perfect home regular season record at 10-0. It also extended the program record winning streak to 13. Covenant will host a USA South Tournament quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday against the winner of the West No. 4 and No. 5 seed at 7:30 p.m.

Seehorn produced a double-double of a match-high 13 kills to go along with 14 digs to lead the Lady Scots over Brevard. Ginny Moore added nine kills and 17 digs, while Schuyler Moore had 34 assists, nine digs and five kills. Hannah Harris also tallied nine kills and Emily Moore totaled 18 digs.

The first set saw nine ties, but just two lead changes as Covenant held off the visiting Tornados to claim a 25-19 win. The Lady Scots took the lead for good at 17-16 after a Seehorn kill and then scored the final four points of the game to take a 1-0 match lead.

In the second set, Covenant tallied a match-high 17 kills and used another late push to take a 2-0 match lead. The Lady Scots ended the frame by outscoring Brevard 10-5, capped by a Ginny Moore kill. In the third, Covenant took a 12-4 lead early on before holding off a late Brevard rally to complete the sweep.
