The second set was also tightly contested, but Covenant was able to stave off a LaGrange victory using 15 kills as a team in the set. The Lady Scots broke away from the Panthers early on in the third set and kept a comfortable lead throughout to secure the three-set victory.

Huntingdon wouldn't go away quietly as the Hawks tied the score at 22 in the third set. Covenant answered by taking the final three points with a pair of kills from Ginny Moore followed by an attack error on Huntingdon that ended the match.
