LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- For the second consecutive year, Covenant will participate in national College Colors Day. College Colors Day is an annual celebration dedicated to promoting the traditions and spirit that embody the college experience by encouraging fans across America to wear their favorite college or university apparel throughout the day on Friday, August 30.
Covenant athletics is encouraging students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and anyone else associated with the institution to wear their royal blue and white proudly on this day.
College Colors Day is also on the same day as the fall sports season begins. Covenant will host the Scots Opener cross country race starting at 6 p.m. The meet is the only one hosted by Covenant this season.
Also on Friday, the women's soccer team is in Rome, Ga., taking on Berry at 3 p.m. and the men's team is in Chattanooga to face Tennessee Temple at 7 p.m.
Fans are also encouraged to show their pride on Twitter and Facebook. Like us on Facebook at facebook.com/CovenantScots and follow us on Twitter, @CovenantScots, and be sure to use the hashtag WeAreTheScots to join in the conversation.
Wear your colors and cheer on the Scots to victory!
