LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- The Covenant women's tennis team did not drop a set in their, 9-0, victory over Agnes Scott on Tuesday evening from the Covenant Tennis Complex.
The win marked the fourth time the Scots were able to come away with a 9-0 sweep without dropping a set this season.
Covenant (6-10, 3-2 USA South) started the match with a 2-0 advantage thanks to defaults by Agnes Scott (0-12, 0-6 USA South) at three doubles and six singles.
The Scots made quick work of the Scotties in the doubles portion of the match dropping only a single game.
Mariah Westra and Masha Lanska made quick work of Xiaobin Zhou and Jasmine Young, 8-0, at the two spot. Esther Eddy and Margo Koby wrapped up the doubles sweep, 8-1, over Damira Augustin and Jacy Pippin.
The Scots went on to win the first four matches of singles play without dropping a game.
Koby made quick work over Zhou 6-1, 6-0 at three singles and Eddy wrapped up the match at the one spot with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Augustin.
Covenant travels to Montgomery, Ala. to take on Huntingdon on Friday. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
