LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- The Covenant women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 match to LaGrange at the Covenant Tennis Complex on Friday afternoon.

After starting the match up 2-0 Covenant (4-8) allowed LaGrange (4-4) to come back and take a 4-3 lead in singles play. Justine Blick knotted things back up at four with a thrilling three-set victory over Callaway Cook 2-6, 7-6 (4), 6-1.

Moody gave the Panthers a 3-2 match lead taking the three singles flight 6-3, 6-3 over Lanska. Eddy was able to tie things back up with a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Eppes. Koby played Phillips to a three-set match before eventually falling 6-3, 3-6, 6-0.

Blick then had her late match heroics to even the score at four before LaGrange took match 5-4 in the final match of the night.
