DEMOREST, Ga. -- The Covenant women's team fell to Piedmont on Tuesday, 9-0, at the Burgen Tennis Courts.

In doubles competition, Piedmont (12-1, 4-0 USA South) dropped one game en route to a sweep. Margo Koby and Ester Eddy were the tandem to snag a game, falling 8-1 to Morgan Buchholz and Megan Waldheim at the one flight.

Singles was much of the same as the Lions continued their dominance with 6-0 sweeps at three, four, and five singles. With Waldheim's sweep over Masha Lanska Piedmont clinched the match.

Sara Blauw was the only Scot to take multiple games in a set on the evening. Blauw dropped set number one 6-1 before dropping a 6-3 battle in set two at six singles.
