2015 (Sophomore): Playing predominantly out of the No. 4 singles slot, she collect 10 victories and went 7-3 in the USA South... Won 13 matches in doubles, going 12-3 with partner Jennie Spielman and 1-0 with Annie DeLuca... Her 13 doubles victories are second in program history... Also went 9-1 in the USA South... Was Covenant's representative on the USA South All-Sportsmanship team
2014 Fall Season (Sophomore): Competed at the ITA South Regional in Atlanta (Sept. 20)... Won a match in the main draw to advance into the round of 32
2014 (Freshman): Set a women's program record with her 16 singles victories on the year, including a 10-2 record in USA South matches... Also accumulated 11 doubles wins... Earned a spot on the USA South All-Conference third team... Helped Covenant get into the semifinals of the USA South tournament with a 6-0, 6-2 singles win at No. 3 position and an 8-4 win in doubles with partner Claire Luger... Named to the USA South All-Academic team
High School: Attended Chattanooga Christian School… Helped lead her team to a second-place finish at state in her sophomore year… As a senior, led CCS to a state title… Member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Born on Sept. 13, 1994 in Chattanooga, Tenn. … Parents are Todd and Catherine Smith… Has three siblings, Andrew, Tyler, and Katie… Her brother, Tyler, was a pitcher for the Covenant baseball team from 2009-12 and holds the modern program record for wins (22)… Favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:10… Majoring in Physical Therapy… Aspires to work with children as a physical therapist… Has volunteered for various fundraisers… For a senior project, she put on a 5K walk to raise money for her brother, Andrew, who was injured while on duty in Afghanistan.
