HIXSON, Tenn. -- In a match moved to the Hixson Racquet Club because of rainy weather on Lookout Mountain, the Covenant women's tennis team won its fifth straight match with a 6-0 victory over Averett.

The Lady Scots improve upon their program record season as they move to 14-6 overall and 9-2 inside the USA South. Averett drops to 1-14 overall and 1-10 in league play.

In singles play, Claire Luger won at No. 1 6-0, 6-0 and Smith took a 6-1, 6-0 win at the No. 3 spot. Wrapping up play was Carter's 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles.
