Kelsey returns to Covenant this year as a senior Lady Scots tennis player. During her time at Covenant, she has been named a Scholar-Athlete in recognition for her work in the classroom and on the court. Prior to Covenant, Kelsey played in several USTA and ALTA tennis tournaments throughout her high school years.
Her parents are Scott (played baseball and soccer at Covenant) and Lisa Whitted. She has an older sister, Caitlyn (played tennis at North Greenville University)), and two younger brothers, Chapman and Jackson. When she is not playing tennis, Kelsey enjoys singing, spending time with family and friends, and reading. One of her favorite Bible verses is 2 Corinthians 12:9 which says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness."
Kelsey is majoring in Theatre and minoring in Music. After graduating from Covenant, she would like to teach music and theatre to middle and high school students in order to build relationships with kids and show them the joy and God-given gift of creativity.
