Covenant ended the period outscoring Mary Baldwin 32-1 and led the game 68-45.
The lead grew in the fourth as a Smith layup pushed the margin to 30 at 78-48 with 9:17 remaining. The final margin of 100-64 was also the largest lead of the game for the Scots.
Smith led all players with 20 points to go with five rebounds and five assists for Covenant. Kaley Hallmark added 17 points, six rebounds and two assists, while Rachel Price had 12 points and four rebounds. Emma Grimes and Aleigha Williams had 10 points apiece and Bekah Walter chipped in eight points off the bench. Jessica Bell tallied four points and tied for a team-high with six rebounds.
