LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- Covenant softball head coach Christine Engbers announced the addition of a home doubleheader against Guilford on Saturday, March 31. Game one of the twin-bill will begin at 2 p.m.
The added games come at the heels of Covenant seeing two regular season games (one against Berea and another against Maryville) cancelled due to weather. The two added games brings the total number of regular season contests to 38 and will now serve as the final two regular season games.
It will be the first all-time meetings between Covenant and Guilford. Guilford is a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and the Quakers are currently 10-5 on the year.
Covenant (14-16, 4-6 USA South) is back in action on Friday, March 23 at home against Emory & Henry. The first game of the rescheduled doubleheader from Feb. 17 is set for 1 p.m.
