Grover Commits to Covenant Softball

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- Casey Grover, a recent graduate of Sneads (Fla.) High School, has committed to attend Covenant College and play softball for head coach Sara Russell beginning in the fall of 2016.

At Sneads, Grover played four seasons under coach Kelvin Johnson and Shawn Graham. During her high school career, she posted a career batting average of .376 with 12 doubles and four home runs. Playing primarily third base, first base, and catcher, Grover brings a hardworking, devoted, and dedicated mindset and attitude to the Lady Scots program.

Additionally, Grover was strong in the classroom and is planning on majoring in Education with a minor in Sport Administration at Covenant.

Grover chose to attend Covenant College because she felt at home when visiting campus and felt as if this is where she needed to be. "I loved the camp I participated in. I loved how Coach Russell made me feel like I was more than just a softball player," Grover added.

Russell, along with the team and coaching staff, are pleased to have Casey Grover join the Lady Scots in 2016.
