Softball Program to Host Summer Elite Camp July 7-8

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- The Covenant softball program and head coach Sara Russell will host an Elite Camp for high school aged players that are looking to play at the collegiate level. The camp dates are July 7-8, 2015.

INFO:

Date: July 7-8, 2015
Ages: 13 - 18 years old
Check In/Out: Tuesday, July 7 at 4pm/Wednesday, July 8 at 3pm

Cost: $160.00 (includes 3 sessions, dorm, meals, and camp t-shirt)
** Teams of nine (9) or more pay $135/camper 

Registration: 4pm – 5pm in Ashe Lobby

This overnight camp is for high school aged students that are looking to play at the collegiate level. Various skills and game strategies will be covered throughout the 3 intense sessions.

Tuesday, July 7

4pm – 5pm Registration in Ashe Lobby/Check into rooms

5pm – 6pm Dinner in Great Hall

6:30pm – 8:30pm Session #1

9pm – 9:30pm  Clean Up

9:30pm – 11pm Activities & Devotional

11pm Reside to Room

11:30pm Lights Out

Wednesday, July 8

8am – 8:30am Breakfast in Great Hall

9am – 11am Session 2

11am – 12pm Feel/Pool Time

12pm – 12:30pm Lunch in Great Hall

1pm – 3pm Session 3

What to bring:

Cleats, Tennis Shoes, Glove, Bat, Hat/Visor, Water Bottle, Catcher Gear (if applicable), single sheet, blanket, pillow, under garments, practice clothes, PJ's ETC

Camp Director

Head Softball Coach Sara Russell is in her sixth year with the Lady Scots. She came to Covenant from Mid-Continent University where she both played and coached, and was named the 2006 KIAC Coach of the Year. Coach Russell was named the 2011 NCCAA Mid-East Region Coach of the year. The Lady Scots made three consecutive trips to the NCCAA National Tournament from 2010-12.
