FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Covenant men's tennis team was once again selected as the preseason favorite in the West Division of the USA South, as the conference unveiled its preseason coaches' poll on Wednesday.

The Lions received the other two first place tallies and totaled 33 points. LaGrange (25 points), Huntingdon (20 points), and Brevard (18 points) rounded out the top five in the West Division.
In the East, N.C. Wesleyan claimed five first place votes and 25 points to be selected at the No. 1 spot. The Battling Bishops won the East Division and the USA South Tournament title last season. Methodist, Averett, Pfeiffer, and William Peace completed the top five.
