Men's Tennis Falls at Ferrum

FERRUM, Va. -- Playing their first match in eight days, the Covenant men's tennis team fell to USA South foe Ferrum 7-2 on Saturday morning.

Covenant drops to 2-7 overall and 1-3 in conference play with the loss.

Matthew Harvie and Chris Cox tallied the two points for the Scots with singles victories. Harvie took a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Kevin Ramirez at the top spot, while Cox was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at No. 2. As a duo, Harvie and Cox fell 8-6 at the top doubles spot to Connor Moncure and Taylor Napier.

UP NEXT

Covenant will travel to Berry on Wednesday. Matches start at 4 p.m.
