SEWANEE, Tenn. -- The Covenant men's tennis team finally got to play its second match of the year on Tuesday evening. Unfortunately for the Scots, they ran into a traditional power in Sewanee and the host Tigers took a 9-0 victory.
Covenant drops to 1-1 on the year after having both of its matches scheduled for last Saturday postponed due to inclement weather. Sewanee goes to 3-0.
In singles play, Matthew Harvie took 30th-ranked Avery Schober to three sets before falling 6-3, 5-7, 7-5.
