2010 Men's Tennis

With one of the strongest rosters in program history, the 2010 edition of the Covenant men's tennis team produced the best season yet. Under head coach Katherine Smith, the Scots went 11-11 overall and earned a bid to the NCCAA national tournament for the first time.

The roster was led by Josh Jeremiah - who reaped in NCCAA first team All-American honors in both singles and doubles play - John Hirte, Garrett Reid, Stephen Woody and others. Hirte, a sophomore at the time, produced a 14-5 singles record, while Jeremiah was 11-8. Jeremiah and Reid combined to go 13-7 in doubles play and earn first team All-American honors.

Covenant was selected to compete in the NCCAA national tournament and made their presence known in the tournament's first match. The Scots took a 5-2 victory over Indiana Wesleyan in the first match of pool play, but then fell 5-0 to Palm Beach Atlantic and 5-3 to North Greenville to wrap up pool play.
