Hudson joined the Scots last season after growing up on Lookout Mountain and playing soccer in the Chattanooga area. In his first season as a Scot, Hudson earned an All-Conference Academic Award. Prior to Covenant he played for the McCallie Tornadoes in high school where he earned the Tornado Award (for being captain of the team) and was voted to the Tennessee All-Star team in his senior year. He also played club soccer for the PSA Predators.
Hudson's parents are Krue (played goalkeeper for a season at Covenant) and Hollee Brock. He has a younger brother, Builder, and four younger sisters, Kruesi, Beata, Eden, and Ella. Hudson is married to Nina and has a baby daughter, Ava. When he is not playing soccer, Hudson enjoys any outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and cliff jumping; playing peek-a-boo with his daughter, Ava; and worshipping with his family. One of his favorite passages is 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 which says, "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever."
Hudson is an Economics major with minors in Community Development and Business. He is very interested in working for the Chalmers Center or becoming a teacher or administrator at the high school or college level.
