Scots Golf in 13th after Round One of Ted Keller

ASHLAND, Va. -- The Covenant men's golf team sits in 13th after the first round of the Ted Keller Memorial hosted by Randolph-Macon at the Hanover Country Club on Monday.

Covenant posted a team score of 329 in the opening round for a 13th place spot, out of 18 teams, heading into Tuesday's final round.

Franklin & Marshall leads the field after posting a 297, while Gettysburg's Dane Sethre-Hofstad is the individual clubhouse leader after shooting an even-par 70.

Marshall Kent led Covenant on the first day with an 80 as he sits in a tie for 36th overall in the event. Nathan Hawkins carded an 81 in the round as he is in 44th, while Will Mayfield shot an 83. Alan Craig scored an 85 to round out the top four scorers for the Scots. Ian Johnson finished round one with a 92.

UP NEXT

The final round of the tournament will begin on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
