SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Playing 36 holes on Monday, the Covenant men's golf team opened up The Buccaneer, hosted by Christian Brothers University, with a two-round score of 629 at the Par-70 Club at North Creek.

The Scots shot a season-low 305 in the day's second round and sit in eighth place heading into Tuesday's final round. Three Scots posted scores in the mid-70s in the second round led by Alan Craig with a 74, followed by Nick Blauw (75) and Scott McKnight (76). Drury posted a team score of 578 and they hold first place.

Craig, coming off a career-best 73 in the final round of the Pinnacle Trust Invitational last Tuesday, posted a first round score of 74 before carding a 76 in round two. Craig's 150 has him in a tie for 21st individually.
