GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Freshman Levi Nix and Sophomore Trey Patterson have been selected to compete as individuals at the 17th NCCAA National Men's Golf Championship on October 21-24 in Panama City Beach, Fla.
Nix and Patterson have led the Covenant golf team in its two events so far this season. Nix posted a three-under par 69 in the first round of the Emmanuel College Invitational last Monday before finishing in fourth place. Patterson placed third in the same Emmanuel event with a two-day total of 146.
The NCCAA Tournament will be hosted at the Hombre Golf Club in Panama City Beach, Fla. Once again, the NCCAA will partner with the Panama City Men's Rescue Mission & Bethel Village for Women to provide a Christian Service Project. Mission residents will be invited to attend the Tee-off banquest on October 21 and sit with a team that will become their adopted favorite for the week.
