FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Covenant baseball junior Caleb Bloye and senior Forrest Hunter were named first team All-USA South selections and senior Luke Harvey was a second team choice, as the conference announced its postseason honors on Wednesday.

Hunter was also Covenant's representative on the All-Sportsmanship team.

All honors were determined by votes from the baseball coach at each institution. Regular season champion LaGrange collected four of the top five honors as Casey Bell was Player of the Year, Ryan Broaderick was named Pitcher of the Year, Richie Post earned Rookie Pitcher of the Year and head coach David Kelton was Coach of the Year.

Bloye, a junior from Dallas, Ga., is hitting .344 on the year and batted .406 against USA South competition. He has four homers with 24 RBIs, 23 runs scored and 10 stolen bases. Bloye was named USA South Player of the Week on March 27 after batting .643 with three RBIs on the week. The honor is the first all-conference selection for Bloye and his first postseason award since being named the conference's Rookie of the Year in 2015.

Hunter, a senior from Bonita Springs, Fla., earns his first career all-conference honor. The senior is currently batting .397 with a home run, 10 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Hunter has 11 multi-hit games on the year, including a three-hit contest. His All-Sportsmanship honor is also the first of his career.

A senior from Apex, N.C., Harvey earns his second straight all-conference honor. Harvey is hitting .317 with 12 RBIs, 29 runs scored and 19 stolen bases, which ranks third in the USA South. The senior is second on the team with 10 multi-hit games, while he has collected a pair of multi-RBI games. Harvey tied the single-game program record with five hits on April 8 at Piedmont. During the year, Harvey broke the program career record for stolen bases.

Covenant (13-22) will finish its season next week with a game on the road against Carson-Newman on Tuesday, before hosting Methodist next weekend.
