Bloye went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and a run scored, while Nobles was 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Devin Cerrato also tallied a three-hit game as he was 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base. Perry Rigby and Forrest Hunter had two hits apiece as Covenant racked up 12 as a team.
Both teams scored single runs in the first inning. Sewanee's Jackson Cooper delivered an RBI single in the top of the inning, but Bloye answered in the bottom half as he drove home Luke Harvey with a one-out single to center field.
Sewanee took a 3-1 lead in the top of the third as Cooper drove in two with a triple. But Covenant responded with four runs in the bottom of the inning to gain a 5-3 lead. Cerrato and Bloye singled and Alex Kerr was hit by a pitch to load with bases with one out. Joel Johnson drove in Cerrato with a fielder's choice before Nobles lifted a double down the left field line that scored Kerr and Bloye. Rigby added an RBI ground out giving the Scots a two-run lead.
Bloye extended Covenant's lead to 7-4 in the sixth with a two-out double to right field that plated Cerrato and Hunter. Sewanee got a run back in the eighth on a Tony Dykes solo home run, but the Tigers were held from that point.

Relievers Ray Brooks and Alex Kerr combined to allow one run on three hits over the final four innings. Kerr collects the save as he tossed the final two innings.
Sewanee's Bryce Benedict (0-3) picks up the loss as he surrendered four earned runs on 10 hits in six innings. Cooper finished 3-for-5 with three RBIs for the Tigers.
