Alhanon joins the Scots this season as a freshman pitcher. Before coming to Covenant, Alhanon played baseball for West Valley High School where he served as team captain in his senior year. He was also named the team's Most Valuable Player (Sr.), a Big 9 3A All-League Honorable Mention at first base (Sr.), and a A/B/AA All-State Feeder Game Top 12 recipient (Sr.). He also trained at the Brooklyn Baseball Club in Yakima, WA under Rich Lindros; and played under Jalal and Jarman Leach for the Baseball Mentoring Program in Sacramento, CA.

His mother is Jennifer Miller. He has four older siblings: Jay, Nate, Ashley, and Chelsea (ran track at Central Washington State). He also has three younger siblings: Joe, Sam, and Anna. When he is not playing baseball, Alhanon loves to stay active, read good books, spend time with his family, and train with his teammates. One of his favorite Bible passages is Psalm 23.

Alhanon has not yet decided on his major. After graduating from Covenant, he would like to play baseball at the next level. Yet, no matter what comes of this aspiration, he is content to use his education to live out God's calling for his life.
