Women's Soccer earns NSCAA Bronze Team Ethics honor

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Covenant women's soccer team has been honored with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Bronze Award for Team Ethics for the 2016 season, announced the association on Thursday (Dec. 22)... FULL STORY

WEEKLY NOTABLES:

- Men's basketball guard Z Arima is putting together a career year as a senior. Arima is second on the team in scoring at 12.4 points per game and has scored in double figures in seven straight contests dating back to Nov. 29. The senior also set a career-high with four steals in Covenant's 73-60 win at Millsaps on Friday.

- A pair of men's basketball freshman played key roles in the Scots' 2-0 week. In Friday's 73-60 win at Millsaps, Caleb Haynes scored a career-high 14 points to go along with eight rebounds. Zack Allen then tallied a career-high with 16 points in Saturday's 78-70 win at Belhaven.

- Women's basketball sophomore guard Kaley Hallmark had a career-high seven assists in Saturday's 79-69 loss at Belhaven. It was the thrid time this season that Hallmark has dished out at least five assists and the sixth time in her career.

THIS WEEK:

- Men's Basketball: The Scots host a pair of USA South contests this weekend against LaGrange (Friday at 5:30 p.m.) and Huntingdon (Saturday at 4 p.m.).

- Women's Basketball: Covenant plays its final non-conference game of the year on Tuesday at Sewanee at 7 p.m. EST. The Scots then host Piedmont (Friday at 7:30 p.m.) and Salem (Saturday at 6 p.m.) in USA South action.
