Chattanooga Times Free Press: Covenant 'family' set for NCAA tournament opener (March 3, 2016)

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- At the USA South basketball tournament last week in Rocky Mount, N.C., Covenant College's Scots won the championship by avenging regular-season losses to Greensboro and LaGrange. They had lost twice to LaGrange, in fact, before beating the Panthers 101-92 in overtime in the tournament final... FULL STORY

BY THE NUMBERS:

10: Hitting streak for softball senior Morgan Lane that was snapped on Saturday. Lane has hit safely in 11 of Covenant's first 12 games and has four multi-hit games. The senior has had three hitting streaks reach double digits during her career.

48: Number of victories for the men's basketball senior class over the last four years. TJ Cox, Micah Turner, Daniel Garrett, Matt den Dulk, Robby Bell and Chris Boyd helped lead the program to new heights during their tenure that concluded with an NCAA Tournament loss to Emory last Friday. 

.643: The winning percentage for the men's basketball team this year. That percentage is the best in program history and the 18 wins are tied for fouth-most in the Scots' 58-year history.
