Student-Athletes Named to Dean's List for Fall 2015

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- Covenant College released its fall 2015 Dean's List earlier this week. Over 130 student-athletes from across Covenant's varsity and junior varsity programs were recognized... FULL STORY


10.6: Rebounds per game on the year for freshman women's basketball player Joanna Smith. Smith is second in the USA South with that number and is currently averaging a double-double with 10.9 points per game. Should Smith continue to average adouble-double for the year, she would be the first to do so since Erika Forland in 2009-10.

5: Margin of victory for the men's basketball team in Tuesday's 76-71 win over Piedmont. The Scots and Lions have played close games over the last six meetings with each contest being decided by less than 10 points. Covenant is 3-3 in those games, but has won three straight.


Men's Basketball:
Covenant will travel this weekend to face William Peace (Friday at 7:30 p.m.) and North Carolina Wesleyan (Saturday at 4 p.m.)

Women's Basketball:
The Scots will also be on the road facing William Peace on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and North Carolina Wesleyan on Saturday at 2 p.m.
