34: TJ Cox scored a career-high 34 points in Saturday's 96-81 victory over Birmingham Southern. In addition to being the first Scot to score 30+ points in a game since 2013, it had been nearly seven years since a Covenant player accomplished the feat at home (Reed Crosson vs. Bluefield on Feb. 21, 2009). Cox is just the fifth Covenant player to score at least 34 points in a game since 2003.

1: The men's basketball win over Birmingham Southern on Saturday was its first-ever over the Panthers. According to available records, the Scots were 0-8 against Birmingham Southern all-time entering Saturday's contest.

3: With a double-double in Tuesday's overtime loss to Sewanee, women's basketball freshman Joanna Smith has tallied three double-doubles on the year. The freshman scored a career-high 20 points to go with 14 rebounds in the loss. She has four games of at least 10 rebounds on the year and was named USA South Rookie of the Week for a second time last week.
