Ruth Terry Selected to NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region Third Team

Rachel Price Named Nominee for 2016 Allstate WBCA Good Works Team

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Covenant women's basketball junior Rachel Price has been named as one of the 103 nominees for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Allstate Insurance Company Good Works Team, announced the organizations on Wednesday morning... FULL STORY

BY THE NUMBERS:

66: Number of rebounds for the women's basketball team in their 70-46 win at Wesleyan on Saturday. It's the most rebounds in a game for the program since collecting 67 as a team on Nov. 16, 2010 at Sewanee. It is also the fifth time in the program's history to record 66 rebounds in a game. The program record is 69 set on Nov. 20, 1990 at Toccoa Falls.

2: Number of double-doubles for women's basketball freshman Joanna Smith this season. The freshman racked up her second one of the year in Saturday's 70-46 win at Wesleyan with a career-high 12 points and 16 rebounds. Smith has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in a game three times this season.

22/19: Career-high point totals for men's basketball players Patjo Twagirayezu and Ben Phelps set this week. Twagirayezu's 22-point effort tied his career-high (set while at Milligan) and helped the Scots to a 63-56 win over Millsaps on Friday. Phelps tallied 19 points in a loss at Sewanee on Tuesday.

THE ROAD AHEAD:

Men's Basketball:
Covenant plays just once this week when they host Birmingham Southern on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Barnes PE Center.

Women's Basketball:
The Scots host Sewanee on Tuesday at 7 p.m. before heading to Maryville for the USA South opener on Saturday at 2 p.m.
