Covenant Second in USA South Presidents Cup Standings after Fall Seasons

Covenant SAAC Helps in USA South's "Cans Across the Conference" Initiative
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Covenant Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) collected canned and non-perishable food items over the last several weeks as part of the USA South's "Cans Across the Conference" initiative. Covenant's efforts helped the conference collect 33,907 cans to be donated to local organizations. The food items Covenant tallied will be donated to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank... FULL STORY
BY THE NUMBERS:
3-0: The men's basketball team is 3-0 for the first time since 2011-12 after defeating Sewanee and Oglethorpe last week.
1: Women's basketball freshman Joanna Smith recorded her first career double-double in Saturday's 73-60 loss at Oglethorpe. The freshman from Chattanooga grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds to go with 10 points.
16.7: Scoring average on the year for men's basketball senior TJ Cox, which leads the team. Additionally, Cox is shooting 54.8 percent from the field and 56.3 percent from behind the 3-point line while dishing out 6.3 assists per game. He has committed just two turnovers in 107 minutes on the floor. Cox's 19 total assists on the year leads the USA South.
THE ROAD AHEAD:
Covenant will play one game this week before taking off for Thanksgiving Break. The Scots travel to Berry on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. tip-off.
