LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- Week 5 was yet another successful week for Covenant athletics. Women's soccer continued its winning streak, as did volleyball, while men's soccer, men's golf, and women's cross country were also successful this week.

Mae Mae Johnson scored her first goal of the season to lead the team to victory 1-0 over Birmingham Southern. Hannah Bales held the Lady Scots defense together with six saves to ensure the win. The second match had a similar ending, with the Lady Scots coming out on top 1-0, but this time it was Salem College on the other end. Mo Cross scored in the 11th minute to earn the win for Covenant.
