Lookout Mountain, GA- 2009 marked the first year in which the NCCAA held a full-fledged tournament to determine which team from the Mid-East region would advance to the National Tournament.  Among the contenders were Asbury College, Bluefield College, Bryan College, Campbellsville University, Covenant College, King College, and Oakland City University.
