Lady Scots Fall to Tennessee Temple 71-63

Lookout Mountain, GA- A poor ending to the first half for the Covenant College Lady Scots saw Tennessee Temple take a 39-29 lead into the locker room at the break.  And, it would prove to be a lead they would not relinquish, as the Lady Scots only managed to cut the deficit to eight by the end of the game.  Senior Brinkley Knowles was the star for the Lady Scots, scoring a team high 24 points in the losing effort.  Freshman Kiaira Cooper was second with 10, and Dede Walls posted a game high 12 rebounds.  Temple's Stephanie Lovett led all players with 31 points. 

After the 71-63 loss, the ladies are now 6-9 on the season, and will be looking to add a win to their road record when they travel to Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday.
