2015-16 (Freshman): Received numerous accolades his freshman year: was selected USA South Rookie of the Year, earned first team All-USA South honors and was USA South Rookie Runner of the Week two times (Sept. 21 and Oct. 19)... Was the USA South individual champion, running a personal record of 28:08 in the 8k at the USA South Championships (Oct. 31)... Became the second straight Covenant runner to win the USA South individual title... Came in third (second for the team) in the season-opening Mountaintop Invitational 5k (Sept. 4) with a time of 18:34... Finished fourth with a time of 30:28 in the Maryville Invitational 8k (Oct. 3)... Had three top-five finishes on the year... Competed in several events in the spring track season setting personal bests in the 3000 meter (9:58) and 5000 meter (17:18) and running a leg of the 4x400 relay team...
