Emily returns to Covenant's cross country team as a sophomore runner for the Lady Scots this season. Prior to Covenant, Emily ran for Gaston Christian School where she earned All-Conference (So., Sr.) and All-Academic (So.) awards.

Her parents are Mark and Susan Davis. She has a younger brother, Hunter. When she is not running, Emily enjoys playing the piano, writing letters, going on hikes, and camping. One of her favorite Bible verses is 2 Corinthians 12:9 which says, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."

Emily is a Physics major with a Spanish minor. She is considering teaching Physics to high school students after graduation.
