Paige returns to Covenant in her senior year as one of the three captains leading the Lady Scots this season. Prior to Covenant, Paige played volleyball for Spain Park High School where, in 2008, she was named one of the Top 5 Defensive Players in the Birmingham News Preseason Outlook. She was also recognized as a Scholar Athlete, named to the All-Academic team, and voted to the All-South/Hoover post-season team. Paige played club volleyball for the Alabama Juniors Volleyball Club and Birmingham Volleyball Club.

Her parents are Bob and Karen Cheney. She has a brother, Barrett. When she is not playing volleyball, Paige enjoys baking, wake boarding, and running. One of her favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 40:31 which says, "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Paige is a Middle Grades Education major with concentrations in Math and Science. She is also minoring in Missions. After graduating from Covenant, she would like to work on the mission field.
