FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Covenant women's tennis junior Aly Hall was selected to the USA South All-Conference first team and first team All-West, while junior Annie DeLuca and senior Claire Luger were All-West second team choices as the conference unveiled its postseason awards on Thursday.

Esther Eddy was Covenant's representative on the All-Sportsmanship team.

All awards are voted on by the women's tennis coach at each institution. The divisional team voting is completed only by those coaches in the particular division. The first team all-conference and individual award voting is completed by all coaches.

Hall, a junior from Orlando, Fla., picks up first team All-USA South honors for the second straight year. The junior is 9-4 in singles play, all at the No. 1 spot, with a 4-1 mark against the USA South. She and Eddy have combined for a 9-7 record at the No. 1 doubles spot on the year. Hall was a USA South Player of the Week on March 20 after tallying a 2-0 record in both singles and doubles.

DeLuca, a junior from Alpharetta, Ga., earns her third straight All-Conference honor. She has been outstanding in conference play at the No. 2 spot going 6-1 during the regular season. The junior has eight singles wins overall to go along with a 10-7 doubles record.

Luger, a senior from Tampa, Fla., also collects her third straight All-Conference selection. The senior is 6-0 in singles play against the USA South and has eight wins on the year, mostly at the No. 3 spot. In doubles, Luger and Gracie Smith have tallied a 13-6 record and a 7-0 mark in conference action. Luger eclipsed 50 career doubles wins during the year.

Eddy put together a tremendous freshman season. The Jacksonville, Fla., native is second on the team with 13 singles wins to go along with 11 doubles victories. She was named USA South Rookie of the Week on March 27 and April 10.

Covenant (12-7) opens play in the USA South Tournament as the No. 1 seed from the West after taking the division title with a 7-0 conference record. The Lady Scots face Averett on Thursday at 2 p.m.
